injury cards, re-ordering

injury cards, re-ordering
On occasion I would like to change the order in which multiple injuries are listed under the client's Injuries tab. I can trick the program by temporarily marking the one I want to go down the list as "closed", then putting it back to open after the program drops that injury down the list. But isn't there an easier way?

Re: injury cards, re-ordering
Jim,
the ability to order the injuries (just like parties) was a fairly popular request after Version 4.0 was released. This feature has since been incorporated in 4.0.9. You may click Help, About to check your version number. Anything in 4.0.9 or above (which includes all versions of 4.1) has this feature. To activate it (so that you may see an up/down arrow on the Injuries sheet just like the Parties sheet), click Tools, Configure System Defaults, Injuries and check the box that says Allow Manual Ordering Of Injuries.
If you do not have this version, you will need to download it from the web. Otherwise, A1-Law sorts by Status then by employer. Therefore, you may change the status to something other than CL for closed. CL is the only special status that forces the application to the bottom of the list. Therefore, if you have a status for your injuries as OP1 OP2 OP3 then they would be sorted in that order. However, the best solution may be to just download the update.
