Advanced Case Activity Window

Hi Mike,

We like the new Advanced Case Activity window, however, can you modify the program so that we can [esc] out of the case activity just like the Standard Case Activity works? We find it faster to hit the [esc] key than to click the "x" on the top right corner.

In the meantime (while I am working on getting the Escape key to work), I'd like to point out that the standard Ctrl-F4 will close the window if you are looking for a keyboard shortcut. Also, Version 4.1.9 fixes the problem with the Close All button (it was not closing this or other windows when the case activity window was open - this has been fixed in 4.1.9).

Also, in the Advanced Case Activity, after adding [+], it does not show what was added until we exit case activity & re-enter.

Actually, I need to correct that, sometimes it does show after adding the activity & sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure what triggers it not to show; I noticed that when I marked an activity with the PAID button, it didn't show until I escaped out of case activity & re-entered. It also didn't show when I entered an activity in a case that had several other activities already posted in it...but I'm not sure if that is the glitch since there's not many cases that have a lot of activities posted, so I can't draw a parallel just yet.

I will check that. In the meantime, rather than exit out of the case activity, you may click the Refresh button - it's the button to the left of the binoculars (to the left of the Search button). By the way, have you tried the Search button? Offices say they like that one because it allows them to locate a case activity event.

I am not seeing a problem with the Paid button. Keep in mind that it does change the date which will move the event to the top or bottom of the list depending on how you have your list sorted by (ascending or descending). So, look for it at the top or bottom in case activity. But, it should update it as far as I can tell.

The print option is not available from the Advanced Case Activity screen.

The print option is available. But, there was a minor bug and you had to click a screen in front of the case activity window and then click on the case activity window again. The bug has been fixed. Please download the latest update from my web site.
