Dear Michael,
Thanks again for your help!
How would you handle individuals in the rolodex with dual purposes? An example being with an attorney that could be both an attorney card and a referral card. Would you have 2 separate cards? Or?
How would you handle sub-outs or substitution cases (where you are the one substituting/being substituted? Would you create a new card type called "Subout"? Or?
Suggestions?
Sincerely,
Michael Lerner

Re: Dual use cards?
Great question.....A1-Law does a good job of this.

Or one could also say a doctor in one case and an expert witness in another and maybe even a client in a third case.

Many offices change the status to a "dual status" for example:
CL-SUBOUT (ie: closed and subbed out). Or they may have case status like OP-ACTIVE, OP-SUBOUT (then you can run reports of all of the CL for closed cases or maybe you want to run reports off of CL-C&R, etc).
