Dear Michael,
The office wants to know if two fields could be added to the Rolodex Card under General Information. This would handle the issue with the attorney firms "Law Offices of" or "A Professional Law Corporation". There would end up being 3 lines for firm/corp. The first line would be the names in the Law Office Name. The second line would be the information before that name. The third line would be any information after that name.
Rolodex searching would only show the information on the 1st line. However, letters would pull lines 1 + 2 and/or 3 if they exist.
So for Law Offices of John Q. Smith.
1st line: John Q. Smith
2nd Line: Law Offices of
You would search in the Rolodex by: John Q.
Letters would print out: Law Offices of John Q. Smith.
Or for:
Fred and Barney
A Professional Law Corporation
1st line: Fred and Barney
3rd line: A Professional Law Corporation
You would search in the Rolodex by: Fred and
Letters would print out:
Fred and Barney
A Professional Law Corporation
Sincerely,
Michael Lerner

Re: Rolodex Idea
Yes - I follow what you are saying. It will be incorporated but will probably be a few weeks as there are many many items I'm currently in the process of completeing.
It's a great idea and I believe will add more flexibility to the rolodex.
Thanks again,
Mike

Re: Rolodex Idea
Michael - I thought of a way where I may be able to have this feature incorporate by late next week if that helps.
I would not suggest using the user defined fields at this time for the prefix and suffix since the user defined fields are tied to the NAME and not the FIRM and also will not be tightly intertwined with GetParty.
