In Calendar - Click on Post - Case Activity Window Appears - If you click on Cancel - Creates a Calendar Event for Today at 12AM.

Thanks!

Michael - you are correct, it does post. However, saying this is a "bug" may be a little strong for what is happening. Here's why:

when you add an appointment in the calendar, there are three choices: Save, Cancel, and Post. My thinking here is if the user clicks Post, why would they then change their mind. They can easily click Cancel button instead of the Post button. But, if they click the Post button, A1-Law is first saving the calendar event and then enters the information in the Case Activity and allows you to Save or Cancel that. I could always change this around so that it first posts to case activity and if they click cancel it just cancels everything (canceling the save to the calendar as well as the case activity). I'm not sure how critical or important this is since the user can easily cancel instead of the Save or the Post button. Let me know if I am "missing something" here and if so I'll change it around so that it cancels everything. Let me know.

Hi Mike,

I've noticed that when I go into Edit an event in the calander, there is no longer the option to Save, only Post and Cancel. Is that something in my set-up or what's the purpose?

Leslie,

This would only be when you add a calendar event from within a case.

It sounds like you have turned on the Force Calendar Posting to Case Activity. Some offices want all calendar events posted to notes. To allow them to choose, click on Tools, System, Configure System Defaults, Calendar. Click the General2 page and uncheck the Force Calendar Posting to Case Activity.
