Version 6.2.4b update error

mike, i am having a problem with the new 6.2.4b update. I installed it on one computer and it gives me this error on all the computers on the initial start up. then half way threw, it gives me the same error only once.

It's trying to erase law.exe in the C:\LAWLOCAL folder and it cannot seem to do it. Try going into My Computer, Local Disk C and right click on law.exe and click delete and see if you can do it. It could be that the file or folder is marked read only for some reason or perhaps the user does not have full rights for that folder.

No - not at all. This update is like just about all others. Re-Registration is "pretty much" not necessary any more. If or when it is then I can just post a notice to "re-register" the controls manually so that it makes it easier. But, there are no new controls in this update so it is not necessary to re-register controls.

Installed without problems... Users received no error messages the next morning... Went 6.2.3A --> leap to 6.2.4d

Windows 2000 & XP computer settings for LAWLOCAL - Full Control to Domain Users (Had to setup previously on the XP systems) OR Authenticated Users... (2000)

You users may also find this 6.2.4d version to be much faster when pulling client cards and other windows.
