This is the message i get when trying to re-index. i believe its related to this message also. someone else is currently using the LOGTK table. try again later. this message usually pops up when trying to delete an entry. ie notes, ppl from a party list, come-ups etc... its never really raised an issue since the entry still gets deleted, but now its a problem since i cannot re-index. every computer in the office gets the LOGTK message

The index file needed to be erased and then reindex. I have done this remotely and the problem should now be fixed. :)-D

Mike,
How can I tell what an index file it (e.g., "idx", "inx"??) and where would I find the one to delete?

Thanks,

Normally reindexing takes care of that for you. Please make sure you have the latest version and try reindexing again.

Also, the main msg I get is that someone else is using the casecard table, please try again later. I thought maybe if I reindexed that might shift all the electrons up the side of the head and they'd fall back into their right places. That's when I hit the reindex problem as well.

What is the date of the A1Law\Reindex.exe file?

You should get a Success No Errors or someone is in the program.

You can also manually delete the A1Law\data\casecard.cdx file and then reindex as well but reindex should do all that for you.

The icon file says 5/31/2006.

Not the icon - the reindex.exe file.
