New Cases
I changed our security settings so that no one can change the secretary handling. But when of our secretaries added a new case, she said that she was not able to add her initials. Is there a way where it automatically add the secretary and paralegal handling to the person who entered the case?

Yes- you can default it to whatever you want for any user. Click Tools, System, Configure Staff Defaults then click General Information and you will see where it says New Case Defaults. Just fill in whatever initials you would like it to default to for the attorney responsible, handling, paralegal and secretary. If you leave it blank then A1-Law will use the default under Tools, System, Configure System Defaults, New Cases. Therefore, if you want the same attorney or paralegal etc. (regardless of who is entering the case) then you can set those initials in System Defaults, New Cases. (:D
