terminal server

#1

Post by ferankin » Fri Jan 28, 2011 4:33 pm

I can open A1 Law in Terminal Server, with remote desktop, and I can open a client's card. But I can't do anything else. If I try to open up the activity file or any else, the pink window pops open, and I have to try to close A1. Most of the time I cannot even close A1, and I have to end my Terminal Server session with an open program, A1, which I can't even use.

What is going on?

What does the first pink error screen that pops up display?

After posting the last message, I put a message in the empty box, and hit the close A1 button. This this smaller grey window popped up:

Program Error

File "getsysvar.prg" does not exist

three buttons at the bottom are "cancel" "ignore" "help"

I hit ignore, window merely opens again. I hit cancel, and this window opens:

Program Error

Function argument value, type or count is invalid

Same three buttons below, cancel, ignore, help

Mike,

Not being updated may well be the problem. I will send you an email with details, and perhaps you can do it for me.

I just tried to use A1 via Terminal Server again, and when I opened a file, this was the message that popped up:

General Error

Details

Error 12
Message Variable 'CMSGLINES' is not found.

Message 1 SELECT injury

Program CC_497_CCMAIN.STATUSCHECK

Line No 32

Try signing on as a different username in A1-Law and see if that works. If so then your A1Law Profile got corrupted and we can recreate it.

Terminal server should not matter as far as this error is concerned.
