Suggestions & Wants

Dear Michael and fellow A1-Users,

What do you think about having a separate Forum or sub-forum for just suggestions & Wants? Or helpful tips for using A1 (for new and old users)? Or a New to A1 forum?

It may be more helpful for everyone since we have started to amass quite a few entries (I'm very happy more people are using the forum!). It is starting to get difficult to see if a specific question has been asked before. Maybe separating them into specific categories/Forums/Sub-forums would work?

Thanks all!

Sincerely,
Michael Lerner

Hi Michael,

thanks for your continued ideas.

1. What do you think about having a separate Forum or sub-forum for just suggestions & Wants?

The problem with this is that often people may wind up suggesting ideas that are already in the program and a suggestion could have really been a question.

2. It is starting to get difficult to see if a specific question has been asked before.

Can you explain why? First at the bottom of the screen you may either "View Threads" or "Collapse Threads" I prefer Collapse and then when I click on one, I see the entire thread.

Most important of all, are you aware of the SEARCH feature at the top of the support forum? It allow you to search for any word or words in a message or messages. This is one of the greatest features of all about the forum (being able to search since your question or potential post may have already been asked and then you get an answer right away).

However, if the demand is there, I will add another forum. It's easy enough to do and I can have up to around a 1000 or so but I just thought it would be easier if everything were in one place.

Mike.
