calculated age on case card

calculated age on case card
On the Case card, A1-Law calculates and displays the IW's actual age. I, for one, have little use for that information. However, on almost every case I have to determine their age on the date of injury (for rating purposes). What would be more useful to me, and perhaps others, would be to replace the present age with the DOI age (Last DOI on multiple DOIs). What do you think?

Re: calculated age on case card
Hi Jim,
there are two ways you may do this (which could then merge the information into a form letter). One would be to have a user defined field on the client card to keep track of the age of the client for the last DOI. The other way would be to have a user defined field at the Injury screen to keep track of the age of the client for all of their DOI's. A1-Law handles both of these already. Another way would be to track this information at the client card UDF tab #8 (for up to 24 udf fields at that page). Finally, another way would be to put it in notes, quick note or case activity but that may not make sense if you need to merge this information.
Part of it depends on whether you just need the age for the last DOI and what you plan to do with it.
Let me know,
Mike.
