If "RE" is in column 1 then you want the "jon doe vs ABC Co" to be in column 2. You also want the DOI to be in column 2 as well as EAMS numbers, claim numbers or anything else. Make sure those codes are in column 2. If you are still having trouble with it then you can Email support for remote access to look at the letter.

I'm having trouble with our coversheet. We have the following code:
Applicant’s Job
{FieldName = Job
>}

When I test out the codes clicking the print button, it shows. But when I do the actual cover sheet, it leaves it blank.

Our client has to doctors in the party list and only the second one on the list merges. We are using the following code:
{Fieldname = doc2
>>}

The first doctor is labeled as dr-PTP and the second doctor is labeled as dr.

I'm not quite sure if this will fix it but to start I would first put a space after DR so please change this:

to this:

Let us know if that fixes it.

still doesn't work. I tried on another case, it didn't print any of the doctors. I have 3 listed. One labeled dr-ptp and two labeled as dr-ame. The code works fine for attorneys and insurance. I tried changing their labels to dr, and it only worked for the PTP. If it matters, the PTP has the name and firm listed and for the AMEs I only have the doctor's names.

I'm a little confused. You have this code per above:

{Fieldname = doc2
>>}

But I'm not sure what comes before that code. The continue2 continues to the next party. I'm guessing you have a

{Fieldname = doc1
>>}

or something like that as the first code. You may want to start by editing the type of letter to A1Law rather than Corel or Word and see what codes A1-Law inserts so that you can see that the codes are merging and work from there. I'm not quite following the logic because I don't see the codes from beginning to end in your letter and what you are trying to merge.

I just ran this test to print a sample letter in A1Law format (type as A1Law) and this works (and grabs the first 5 parties from the party sheet with the category DR):

I did a test letter and used this code:
{fieldname = docs
>>

>>

>>

>>

>>}

nothing pops up still. but if I change it to command = getparty,dr,dr-ptp,dr-ame it pulls up the doctors. Should I just keep it as command = getparty,dr,dr-ptp,dr-ame?

The Type from the category of the client card must be listed in the GetParty line. Therefore, if you have:

>>

and you have a type DR-AME as an example it will not be listed because DR-AME is not contained in the above GetParty command. However, you may separate them with a comma to include them. For example:

>>

in this example DR-AME is included on the getparty line so it will be listed. (:P)

No - doesn't work that way at this time but I'll make a note of it as a possible update.

I'm trying to create a new letter. I did the codes in A1 and did the letter in word. When I test it out, it says that F:\a1law\word\f25 has not been created. What do I do? Usually I just copy letter and work from there. I tried doing that too and it's not working out for me.
