CALANDER DROP DOWNS

Hi Mike,
I like the calander drop downs & I'm would like to offer suggestions for others. I'm not sure if the current update now merges the court venue into the calander which would be nice, but if the venue was tied with a list of Judges to pick from, it would be great.

Hello,

you may already do this with the POSTCAL command. Also, use the INPUT4 command to allow them to select a dropdown for the Judge.

Opps - my mistake. I thought you meant when doing a form letter you wanted to automatically post the information to the calendar (ie: a depo letter). Which of course that can be done.

Your question is a lot easier to answer. Yes - you are correct, you want to add options to the calendar dropdowns and yes that is in Configure System Defaults, Calendar. From there, click Popups and just separate the items in the dropdown with a comma.

Ahh, do you mean a separate dropdown for the judge rather than a text field? That I would need to add in an update which is easy to do. I thought you meant you were going to put the Judge in the Venue dropdown.

That would be great if you added the dropdown for the judges, and even better if the calendar would automatically insert the venue, and based on the venue, a list of judges from that court would be available in the judge dropdown.
