Hi, Mike:
When you "view" a letter in "Saved Letters" and then save it again, it changes the date of the entry in case activity to the date you are viewing it. We then have to edit the case activity entry to the original date the letter was printed. Is there a way to keep the date of the case activity entry the same after viewing a saved letter? This is a little hard to explain so let me know if this is not clear.

Hello Teresa,
First, the answer to your question is when viewing the form letter to click the X in the upper right corner to close the window and when it says Save Changes - click No. This will retain the date in the case activity.
However, I would like to comment on this further because this has become a HUGE problem with many offices. See the April 2002 Newsletter for more information on this.
