Moving cases between dbs

My co-worker, Lynn, knows how to select cases by specified variables and move them to another database (since we have opted for 4 local dbs instead of 1 central). However, she is on vacation, and I have been unable to ascertain the procedure for myself. How do I accomplish this? And is it possible to take cases from one db and add them to another, or can you only overwrite the other db?

At the present time that is NOT easy to do at all. I'm not sure what her method is of doing this and she may not be doing it quite right. I will be working on something soon where it WILL be possible to transfer a specific case from one system to another even by way of Email.
