Support Forum, searching in
I think the Forum concept is great and appreciate the quick responses and help. However, I find it difficult to locate the subject areas in which I might have an interest, or be looking for a similar problem to one I might be experiencing. Not sure how you could do it but some sort of hierarchical structure might make the Forum more subject-accessable and therefore even more useful.

Perhaps you should search not only the subject but also the message itself for what may interest you. Keep in mind that you may use the AND to limit your search. For example, if you search for FORM LETTERS and say you want to search for everything over the last 180 days, you will obviously get a lot of topics. But, if you search for FORM LETTERS AND SOCIAL SECURITY that alone limits the result tremendously and basically you are saying you only want to find posts with these words in them. If nothin is found at all, you would try searching for just one word or you could just use the OR. For example, search for SOCIAL OR SECURITY OR LETTERS, etc.
Also, as more and more offices utilize the forum, the forum alone will become a database of all kinds of questions asked. I think it's great in how you have caught on to the idea of searching the forum to get an immediate answer to a question you may have without even having to make a post and wait for an answer.
I tried searching the forum for "FORM LETTERS AND DATE OF BIRTH" and nothing was found so I then searched for just "DATE OF BIRTH" and there it was....how to insert the date of birth into a form letter. Now, just like the social security number along with other items, it's always right there if you ever need it.
Can you be more specific and give us an idea what you might be search for as an example? You may search by words contained in the subject or the actual message or both. You can even use logical operators like AND to limit the results displayed (example: FORM LETTERS AND SOCIAL SECURITY).

I forgot to mention - I don't know why but I may have overlooked the fact that you and others may not even be aware of the SEARCH option in the forum. It's right at the very top of the forum where it says NEW TOPIC GOTO TOP GOTO TOPIC SEARCH
Just click SEARCH and enter what you want.
Do you see the SEARCH hyperlink at the top of the forum? Did you click it?
