Dear Michael,
Is there any way to force posting of Calendar events (so they also go to Case Activity)? Would this be advisable?

Hi Michael,

1. Is there any way to force posting of Calendar events (so they also go to Case Activity)?

just click the Post button when adding a calendar event. It will automatically post and save the event.

2. Would this be advisable?

I know that some offices do it.

Interesting. Would it be possible to turn off the Save button for Calendar events so the only possibility would be to Post (save + Case Activity)? I know that it is possible to do so for case-specific emails.

I don't have it in the current release on the web here so I'll have to add the feature. It's easy to do so I'll prepare it as an option in Configure System Defaults in the next minor release. Another item added for the next minor release is the ability to define your own colors for case activity and calendared events.

I just finished implementing your idea. It's done. It will be available when I release the next "build" version 4.1.1 on the web.
