Hi Mike,
Where do you suggest entering the rehab unit case number so it will merge with a form?

I would suggest adding the Rehab Unit as a party at the Parties sheet. Decide a category type (ie: EMPLOYER for the employer, INSURANCE for the carrier, maybe REHAB for the rehab unit). Then, you will see a spot on the right side of the Parties sheet for Office Number. This would be an ideal spot for the Rehab number or anyone else's internal office number. For example, if a defense firm has an internal office number, you could use it for that also.

What's the command to get it to print from that section onto a form?

Hi Leslie,

actually, there are two commands you must issue in order to get the office number to print. The first command will position the GetParty list to the Rehab party (since you may want the office number from anyone in the list). The second command then prints the office number for that party in the list. So, for example, if you are using the category REHAB for the rehab person, you would issue these two commands:

However, to avoid an extra carrage return, you would probably want to issue the two commands without a carrage return as follows:

Hi Mike,

The card is called REHABUNIT & I entered 04-01-1999 in the Office No. (right side) of the PARTIES card.

This is the command I entered at the bottom of court form #10153 RU-103 Dispute Resolution:

FIELDNAME = FILLTEXT6,>>

This is the result I'm getting:

04-01-1999\line\plain\f1\fs24\line

I'm not sure if the type style has anything to do with it, I noticed that all the other text that automatically merged into the form was set at Ariel font 9, but that line was set for Times New Roman font 9. When I highlighted the command & changed it to Ariel, it did not print anything on the form.

Any suggestions?

Hi Leslie,
because you are merging information in a court form and not a form letter, I see that you have entered it in this way:

FIELDNAME = FILLTEXT6,>>

Please enter it as two commands instead, like this:

>
FIELDNAME = FILLTEXT6>

Then, the rehab number will automatically appear on the form.

Hi Mike,
I still can't get it to work. Can you take a look at it? I'll e-mail the IP address.
Thanks,
Leslie

Hi Leslie,

I was referring to the other letter (letter 12) which I fixed. I don't know what problem you are having with the Rehab form.
