Hi Mike,
When using search for a case on version 4.2.0, I noticed that it will take me into the case the 1st time I do a search, however, if I escape out of the case & into the Search For A Case menu & try to re-enter into the same case I just exited, it gives the message "Your search produced no results". At that point, if I escape the Search For A Case menu, then bring it up again, type in the exact same criteria for the same case, it works.

Re: Search For A Case not always functioning
Hi Mike,
Actually, Search For A Case won't work at all if we exit from a case into SFAC, the only way it works now is if we exit the SFAC menu then re-enter it.

Re: Search For A Case not always functioning
You are correct that it is not working but that is ONLY if you use the Escape key to close the window. This is a bug and I will get that fixed asap. In the meantime, use Ctrl-F4 to close the window or click the X in the upper right corner.

As it turns out, you are correct, it does not work until you close the Search For A Case window and then reopen it.
The bug fix will be on my web site later tonight (Tues night May 21).

Re: Search For A Case not always functioning
The bug fix is now available to you right here on the web.
The problem only when you used the Escape key to close a window while the Search For A Case window was still open. I have fixed the problem in version 4.2.1 which is now available.
